MapBDS ("we", "the company", or the "platform") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information.
By using MapBDS, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

Data we process
This includes account information, property data you create, uploaded files, interaction data, and certain technical information such as IP, device type, and browser for service operations and security.
Why we process it
To provide accounts, display properties on maps, synchronize uploaded files, support users, prevent fraud, and generate product and operational analytics.
Third-party sharing
We only share data with infrastructure, email, analytics providers, or when required by law. We do not sell users' personal data.
User control
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of data by contacting the privacy support email listed in this policy.
Sensitive user and device-related data
User-provided information
This includes email, display name, phone number, Zalo, images, documents, and property content that you intentionally create or upload in the platform.
Location and map data
MapBDS processes coordinates, locations, boundaries, and map information that you enter, select, or draw in order to display properties and related map layers.
Technical device data
We may record IP address, device type, browser, access time, and interaction behavior to protect the service, troubleshoot issues, and analyze performance.
Data categories the app does not intentionally access
Within the current feature scope, we do not intentionally access contacts, call logs, SMS, microphone input, or the list of installed apps on a user's device.
Personal Data We Collect
1. Account Information
When you register for MapBDS, we collect:
- Email: Used for account authentication, password recovery, and notifications
- Password: Encrypted and stored securely
- Display name: Used on your public profile and shared links
- Phone number & Zalo: Shared publicly with customers when you create a public link
2. Property Data
You create and provide:
- Coordinates & Location: Stored on the map
- Property details: Name, price, area, property type, description
- Images & documents: Photos, drawings, and legal documents (optional)
- Boundaries: Drawn or uploaded boundary data for the property
3. Usage Data & Analytics
We track:
- Visits: When you and your customers view shared links
- User actions: Buttons clicked and time spent using the service
- Device & browser: To improve experience
- IP Address: To detect abnormal activity
4. Payment and reconciliation data
MapBDS is currently presented as a free-flow product in the main user journey.
- No mandatory checkout: Regular users do not need to provide payment details to get started.
- If special billing flows appear: If manual reconciliation or special services are introduced later, related information will be communicated separately within those workflows.

⚠️ Public Sharing & Contact Information
When you create a public property sharing link, your contact information WILL BE PUBLIC:
- Display name
- Phone number
- Zalo (if provided)
- Facebook & Website (if provided)
You acknowledge that this information will be displayed publicly when you create a sharing link. You are responsible for any calls, messages, or contact from potential customers.
MapBDS does NOT filter, verify, or protect you from unwanted calls or spam.
Data Protection & Security
Encryption
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS). Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt.
Data storage
Data is stored on secure servers with automatic backups and periodic checks.
Access control
MapBDS staff may only access data when necessary to provide service or troubleshoot issues.
However...
NO security system is perfect. We commit to protecting your data but cannot guarantee 100% safety against cyber attacks.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do NOT sell your personal data to marketing companies.
However, we share data with:
Reconciliation partners if needed
Only applies when special payment workflows or reconciliation processes are introduced beyond the current free flow
Hosting & CDN providers
AWS, Cloudflare - for data storage and faster delivery
Email providers
SendGrid, Mailgun - for confirmation and notification emails
Analytics providers
Google Analytics - to analyze service usage
Legal requests
If required by government or law enforcement, we may be compelled to share data
Data retention and deletion
Retention period
We keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, resolve complaints, prevent fraud, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.
Account deletion and deletion requests
When you request account deletion, we will process deletion or suppression of personal data where technically reasonable, except where certain information must be retained for legal compliance, system backups, or ongoing dispute handling.
Backups and caches
Some secure backups or caches may remain for a limited period after formal deletion, but will no longer be used for normal business operations.
Children's privacy
MapBDS is primarily designed for adult users, real estate agents, investors, and property management teams. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children under 13 years old.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided data to MapBDS without valid parent or guardian consent, please contact us promptly so we can review and delete that data where appropriate under applicable law.

You may update or correct your personal information at any time

You may request account deletion and removal of personal data (public property data may still remain in caches temporarily)
